Painted in the high mountains, this piece was inspired by a celebration of movement, light, impermanence, and the quiet beauty that so often surrounds us when we slow down enough to notice.

There is a certain tenderness to life that can arise when we truly remember the ephemeral nature of all things...the changing of seasons, the falling leaves, the fleeting quality of life itself. We realize that we cannot truly hold onto anything for very long, but perhaps we can learn to more deeply savor and appreciate that which we are briefly granted in this moment.
